Finding the way to us

Te Horo is located on the Kapiti Coast. PetVilla is close to State Highway 1 between Taupo/Palmerston North and Wellington.

With the Opening of the PP2O Expressway on 22/12/2022, please consider that Navigation Systems, including Google Maps or Apple Maps, are not updated yet and may lead you the wrong way.

Directions from the South (Wellington)

  1. Heading to SH1 from Wellington via Porirua and Paraparaumu to Waikanae
  2. Please leave the Kapiti Expressway at the Waikanae Exit.
  3. Follow the Sign to Peka Peka Beach or Peka Peka. Both ways lead to us. The way via Peka Peka Beach is nicer and a little bit quicker.
  4. When you reach the Peka Peka Roundabout, please use the Exit “Te Kowhai Rd / Te Horo”
  5. After 900 Meters, you come to Te Hapua Rd. Take a LEFT onto Te Hapua Road
  6. Take the first RIGHT to Derham Road
  7. After 1500 Meter on the LEFT you will see the Sign “PetVilla”
  8. TURN RIGHT into the Driveway and proceed to the top of the hill
  9. Follow the signs for Parking opposite to the house

Directions from the North (Auckland, Taupo, Palmerston North)

  1. Heading onto SH1 to the South via Levin and Otaki
  2. Please take the Peka Peka Exit and follow the Signs to Peka Peka
  3. After 400 metres, take the connection to the old State Highway by turning right using the Over bridge
  4. When you reach the Peka Peka Roundabout, please the Exit “Te Kowhai Rd”
  5. After 900 Meters, you come to Te Hapua Rd. Take a LEFT onto Te Hapua Roa
  6. Take the first RIGHT to Derham Road
  7. After 1500 Meters on the LEFT you see the Sign “PetVilla”
  8. TURN RIGHT into the Driveway and proceed to the top of the hill
  9. Follow the signs for Parking opposite to the house

Directions from the North (Otaki)

  1. Heading South on the old State Highway through Te Horo
  2. After 10 KM you come to Te Hapua Rd. Take a RIGHT onto Te Hapua Roa
  3. Take the first RIGHT to Derham Road
  4. After 1500 Meters on the LEFT you see the Sign “PetVilla”
  5. TURN RIGHT into the Driveway and proceed to the top of the hill
  6. Follow the signs for Parking opposite the house

To get back onto the State Highway, you return to the Peka Peka Roundabout and follow the Signs to SH1 (North) or SH1 (South).
