Our Services

We offer boarding for Cats and Small Animals at Kapiti’s CatVilla Cattery on the Kapiti Coast. Your Pet can relax here during your holiday or business trip. It will become their “home away from home”. We are located at the end of the Kapiti Expressway and are easy to find coming from Wellington, Kapiti and Levin. We are close to SH1.

Pet Holiday

Only going away for the weekend? No problem, we got your pet covered. We can accommodate both short and long term stays. See details on our List of Services.

Pet Sabbatical

Going on a long holiday, overseas for business or will be away from home for a while? Let your pet have a good time and receive a discount for long-term stays.

Special Services

Does your pet have medical needs or is on a special diet? Or perhaps you want to keep in touch from your Smartphone or Tablet, then consider the option for a Cat Treat Cam (Cats only). No need to worry, we are happy to take care of those.

Pet Shuttle

We offer pick-up & Drop-off services in Kapiti, Wellingtion Airport & CBD and Levin. Read more about this in our service & pricelist. Of Course, you can bring your pet to us – we are close to SH1

About our Cattery

Boarding For Cats & Small Animals

We are in a peaceful setting of the Kapiti Coast in Te Horo, A quiet and lovely area will await your pet during their stay with us, and with Spacious accommodation, your pet will feel less stressed than with your ordinary cages.

For cats, We have a wonderful, temperature-controlled, semi-community play area inside and a Safe enclosed area outside where your cats can enjoy the sunlight and birdlife. Each Condo has a Litter tray, a bed and filtered water. Your cat will feel at home with us, we guarantee. The Cattery is away from the Office and other areas like the Dog Cabins, so that your cat will not disturbed by anything than the sound of nature.

My Name is Mary, and together with my Partner, I founded Kapiti CatVilla. Being an animal lover and having pets of my own, I know just how important it is to leave your fur-Babies with someone who truly cares. Most of all, we are very responsible & caring persons and will treat your pets as if they were our own.

Me and our team hold Certificates in Pet First Aid & CPR by PET First Aid & Training (NZ) Ltd, Animal Care Level 3 by Manukau Institute of Technology, and Companion Animals Microchip Implanting by NZCAR and others. In addition, our Facility was approved in 2016 by the AsureQuality Pet Boarding Programme.
